Cerios takes responsibility for software quality
Software drives real progress when quality, security, and sustainability come together. For us, ESG isn't a separate programme. It's built into how we run our organisation, how we treat people, and the choices we make. Concrete, measurable, and woven into the way we work every day.
What we do matters
Cerios works on software and IT systems that always have to function. Think of systems that securely exchange medical records, settle payments between banks, keep trains running on time, hold the energy grid stable, or safely open and close bridges and locks. When something goes wrong there, everyone feels it straight away. Because what we do matters, we look at our own organisation with that same care: at our people, our choices, and our impact on the world around us. That's what ESG means to us. Not a separate programme, but part of how we work every day.

Mobility as a lever for cutting CO₂
Cerios's biggest direct environmental impact isn't in our offices, it's on the road. The vast majority of our emissions come from the lease fleet. That's where the greatest gains are, and that's why it's our priority.
We're working towards a fully electric fleet step by step. Every time a car is replaced, we go electric, and we support colleagues through the switch with charging solutions at home and on location.
The goal: driving fully electric by 2031 at the latest.
Investing in the growth and development of our colleagues
We believe software quality starts with the people who contribute to it. That's why we invest continuously in the development, collaboration, and wellbeing of our colleagues. We create a working environment where people can learn, share knowledge, and bring out the best in themselves and each other. That's how we help our professionals contribute every day to reliable software that keeps society running.
- Employee satisfaction is a key measure for us, with continuous feedback and improvement
- More than 80 training courses through the Cerios Academy, with an average rating above 8. The courses are taught by our own experts
- The Discovery Model: our own development framework for collaboration, personal growth, and performance
- An ongoing prevention and vitality programme for employees and managers
- Shared core values that guide how we work, collaborate, and grow
- Communities around themes such as AI, test management, neurodiversity, accessibility, and test automation, where colleagues share knowledge and learn from each other

Together we are Cerios
Good software doesn't come from a single way of thinking. That's why we're building an organisation where differences are seen as a strength. For us, diversity spans gender, age, cultural background, neurodiversity, experience, and talent. Everyone should feel welcome and have the room to put their qualities to full use.
Some of the ways we do this:
- Encouraging an inclusive culture built on respect, collaboration, and equal opportunity
- Applying our accessibility expertise not only for clients but for colleagues too, so everyone can take part fully
- Aiming for at least 30% female intake
- A works council with representatives from different disciplines and backgrounds
- An active neurodiversity community where colleagues share knowledge, support each other, and raise awareness
Team of teams
Cerios is organised as a team of teams: small, personal teams with a lot of ownership, connected by shared values, a common way of working, and one clear direction. You'll see it reflected in the artwork at our offices too. It stands for the unique strength of collaboration within Cerios: separate elements that together form a whole.
That idea shapes how we set up our organisation. Teams have the room to contribute to the bigger picture from their own expertise, while we safeguard our direction and quality through a clear governance structure.
Some of the ways we do this:
- Small, personal teams built around ownership, trust, and collaboration
- Making atmosphere, knowledge, and the experience of work part of each team's responsibility
- Using our core values as a compass for how we collaborate, make decisions, and grow
- Actively following up on areas for improvement from employee satisfaction and client surveys
- Safeguarding our quality, information security, and processes with internationally recognised ISO certifications
- A board with a CEO and CFO that steers strategy and day-to-day operations
- Oversight through the Supervisory Board and the Works Council, which represents the voice of our employees
